- The Russian ambassador told the Finnish Foreign Ministry about the harm of baseless accusations of the Russian Federation
Russia has pointed out to the Finnish Foreign Ministry the perniciousness of the unsubstantiated accusation of the Russian Federation of hybrid influence and sabotage. This was announced on September 12 by Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov.
"The Finnish partners were pointed out the harmfulness of the already common practice of indiscriminately accusing Russia of involvement in various kinds of 'hostile actions', 'hybrid influence' and 'sabotage' in Europe," he said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
It is noted that Kuznetsov was summoned to the Finnish Foreign Ministry to discuss the incident with drones in Poland. According to the diplomat, Russia's accusations of sabotage have not been confirmed, and the Russian side has not received any denials or apologies on these issues.
On September 10, the Polish military destroyed several UAVs that violated the country's airspace. On the same day, the Reuters news agency, citing sources in NATO, reported that the alliance did not regard the incident with the drone as an attack.
Later, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk called the incident with the penetration of drones into the country's airspace a large-scale provocation. He also said that the country is ready to respond to this "provocation."
On September 11, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Poland's baseless accusations against Russia against the background of the drone incident were part of the usual anti-Russian rhetoric in Europe.
