The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation has not allowed Russian athletes to qualify for the 2026 Olympics in Italy. This was announced on September 12 by Sport-Express with reference to the results of the federation's vote.

It is specified that nine out of 49 votes were cast for Russia. Six officials abstained, 34 opposed.
