A significant earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred near the Turkish capital Ankara in the morning. This was reported on September 11 by the Turkish Disaster Management Authority (AFAD).

It is specified that the epicenter of the seismic event was located near the city of Kalecik, which is 60 km from the Turkish capital. Its source lies at a depth of 11.46 km.
