The FSB announced the initiation of the first case on the illegal use of SIM boxes.

For the first time in Russia, a criminal case was opened against a resident of the Vladimir region for the illegal use of a sim box. This was announced on September 11 by the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.

"The first criminal case under Article 274.3 ("Illegal use of a sim box") was initiated on September 3, 2025 against a resident of the Vladimir region," the report says.
