Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a new staff of deputy heads of the Service for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. This was reported on September 10 on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Media with reference to the decree of the head of state.

It is specified that one of the appointments was the approval of Valentina Kazakova, the former head of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to the post of deputy head of the service.

"Police Lieutenant General Valentina Kazakova has been appointed Deputy Head of the Service for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation," the department noted.

It is specified that Police Major General Kirill Adzinov was appointed deputy head of the service and head of the Department of visa work. Police Major General Gennady Kudryashov took the post of First Deputy head of the Department of Digital Development and Information Technology of the service. Police Major General Yevgeny Kushleiko was appointed head of the Migration Policy Department, and Police Major General Vitaly Yakovlev was appointed head of the Department for work with refugees, compatriots and internally displaced persons.

In addition, Police Colonel Anna Vishnyakova became the first deputy head of the Department for work with refugees and internally displaced persons. Police Colonel Nikolai Evdokimov took over the post of head of the Citizenship Department, and Police Colonel Dmitry Sergienko was appointed Deputy head of the service — head of the Department of Passport and Registration Activities.

On the same day, Putin dismissed Arsen Isagulov, head of the Sakhalin Department of the Interior Ministry. In addition, the personnel changes also affected the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia, Mikhail Korobkin.
