Aeroflot to resume flights to Seychelles and Sri Lanka
Aeroflot will launch regular flights to the Seychelles from September 27 and to Sri Lanka from October 4. This was announced on September 4 on the carrier's website.
On the eve of the winter season, Aeroflot is resuming regular flights from Moscow to the Seychelles and Sri Lanka, which are traditional for this time of year," the publication says.
Flights to the Seychelles (Mahe) will begin on September 27 with a frequency of twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights to Colombo (Sri Lanka) will be operated from October 4 three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
It is specified that Aeroflot will use Airbus A350 aircraft for flights to the Seychelles, and Boeing 777 aircraft for flights to Colombo.
Earlier, on July 4, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that direct flights between Russia and Saudi Arabia were scheduled to open in October. According to him, this will contribute to both the growth of tourism and the strengthening of business contacts. In addition, the head of the department noted that the agreement on visa-free travel between the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia is already in the final stages of preparation.
