Zakharova reported on systemic human rights violations in Ukraine
Russia regularly raises the issue of human rights violations on the territory of Ukraine at the United Nations (UN) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. This was announced on September 2 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"The Russian Foreign Ministry regularly collects data on human rights violations occurring on the territory of Ukraine, including cases of harassment, discrimination, restrictions on freedom of speech and the fight against dissent, in order to draw the attention of the international community to the steadily deteriorating human rights situation in this country," Zakharova said in a comment posted on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
