VGTRK operator Sergei Soldatov, who was wounded in the Kursk border region, was flown by helicopter to Moscow for treatment at the A.V. Vishnevsky National Medical Research Center for Surgery. This was announced on September 1 by the military correspondent of VGTRK Evgeny Poddubny.

"Our Sergey Soldatov, a VGTRK cameraman who was injured in the Kursk region, was flown by helicopter to Moscow. He will undergo treatment at the Vishnevsky National Medical Research Center for Surgery," Poddubny wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that the doctors of the center will make every effort to minimize the consequences of an antipersonnel mine explosion.

Soldatov was injured when a mine exploded while working on August 28.
