By decree, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Alexei Kostrubitsky, former head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. The relevant document was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on September 1.
"Appoint Alexey Alexandrovich Kostrubitsky, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service, as Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters," the decree says.
By this decree, Putin dismissed Kostrubitsky from his post.
