Putin and Xi Jinping spoke at the welcoming ceremony of the SCO summit participants

On August 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a brief conversation before photographing the heads of delegations who arrived at the summit of leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.

Putin will spend four days in China. The President will speak at the SCO summit and attend a military parade in Beijing in honor of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The Russian and Chinese delegations will also hold talks there.

Putin arrived in Tianjin on August 31. An honor guard met him at the airport. After the Russian president got off the plane, he greeted the greeters, then walked along the red carpet and got into a car of the Russian brand Aurus.
