Hungary intends to block the decision on the EU military operation in Ukraine

Hungary will not support Europe's decision on a military operation in Ukraine. This was announced on August 30 by Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, on the social network X (former. Twitter).

As Szijjarto pointed out, Hungary will "face a tsunami of supporters" of the conflict at the meeting of EU foreign ministers. He also wrote about big money and weapons for Ukraine, forced entry into the EU, the start of a military operation, and enormous pressure to force Budapest to abandon its position as a supporter of peace.

Szijjarto stressed that Budapest would not support any decision that would contradict Hungary's position or interfere with the establishment of peace.
