On August 28, former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary were spotted at the airport in Hampton, New York, with a portable defibrillator. This was reported on August 29 by the New York Post (NYP) and published footage of a Clinton security guard, presumably with a medical device.

According to the newspaper, Clinton and his wife were on their way to a private flight accompanied by security guards. One of them had a Propaq MD portable defibrillator, a device used for emergency resuscitation and monitoring of the patient's condition. It is used, among other things, by people with an increased risk of heart attack.

"This observation immediately raised concerns about the fragile state of the ex-president, given his long history of heart problems," the newspaper writes.

NYP notes that Clinton has been struggling with serious health problems for more than two decades. The former president of the United States underwent heart bypass surgery four times. Clinton has also been hospitalized numerous times.
