Lokomotiv drew with Rostov in the sixth round of the Russian Premier League

The Moscow football club (FC) Lokomotiv in the home match of the sixth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) ended the meeting with Rostov in a draw with a score of 3:3. The match took place on August 23 at the Russian Railways Arena in Moscow.

Midfielder Alexey Batrakov (7th minute), striker Dmitry Vorobyov (20th minute) and defender Alexander Silyanov (82nd minute) scored goals for the home team. Midfielder Mohammad Mohebi (57th), striker Timur Suleymanov (65th), who joined Rostov from Lokomotiv in June, and striker Ronaldo (90+8th) scored for the guests.

Lokomotiv remains undefeated this season. The Moscow team has four wins and two draws. Also, Baltika Kaliningrad and CSKA Moscow are undefeated, who will play their sixth round games later.

After six matches, Lokomotiv leads the RPL standings with 14 points. Rostov ranks 14th with four points. In the next round, Lokomotiv will host Krylia Sovetov on August 31, while Rostov will play Akhmat the day before.

A day earlier, football clubs Orenburg and Akhmat drew in the RPL match on August 22. The game took place at the Orenburg stadium and ended with a score of 2:2.
