The Russian army has destroyed German-made Leopard tanks and T-72s of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the settlement of Podoly in the Kupyansk area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on Friday, August 22, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"As a result of the coordinated actions of the Zapad group of forces UAV crews, operators of FPV drones and Lancet barrage ammunition successfully hit enemy combat vehicles with a series of strikes," the department noted.

It is specified that the smoke of the tanks was observed by means of objective control, followed by their complete burnout.

The day before, Russian military personnel attacked the temporary deployment and control points of the UAV brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard in Mirnograd, Artemovka and Dvurechansk.
