On August 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated songwriter Yuri Entin on his 90th birthday and noted his contribution to the upbringing of the younger generation. The corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin's official website.
"You have devoted your generous and kind talent to the development of the wonderful traditions of Russian children's literature, cinema and animation, and have contributed to the upbringing of the younger generation," the message of greetings reads.
The Russian leader noted that Entin's work is known and loved not only in Russia but also abroad, and thousands of people sincerely appreciate the multifaceted works of the author. The President wished Yuri Entin good health, inspiration and all the best.
