Two people were killed and one injured in an accident in the Kursk region.

An accident occurred on the M-2 "Crimea" highway in the Kursk region, as a result of which two people were killed and one injured. This was announced on August 21 by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The accident occurred on the 471st km of the highway in the Fatezhsky district of the region. Previously, Mazda and VAZ-2115 cars collided.

"According to updated information, the driver of the VAZ car, born in 1965, and the passenger of the VAZ, a man born in 1956, were killed in the accident. A female passenger born in 1966 was hospitalized with injuries," the Telegram channel says.

The police are currently investigating the causes of the accident.

Earlier, on August 20, eight people were injured in a collision between UAZ and GAZ cars in the Udorsky district of Komi. It was clarified that girls and women aged from 14 to 62 years were injured.
