The United States will continue to look for ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, and American leader Donald Trump is open to any action that may affect this. This was stated on October 19 by American Press Secretary Marco Rubio at a press conference following his visit to Uzbekistan.

"But the president (Trump. — Ed.) made it clear that he would like the conflict in Ukraine to <...>.. It's over. <...> And we will continue to look for opportunities for this," he is quoted as saying on the website of the US State Department.

The day before, Rubir again recalled the words of the American leader, who assured that if he had been president at the time of the outbreak of the conflict, nothing would have happened. Now, as the US Secretary of State suggested, the parties can discuss a potential meeting, but he does not know what has been decided on this matter.

On October 14, Trump again blamed his predecessor Joe Biden for starting the conflict in Ukraine. He noted that he constantly mocked Russia and everyone else, without giving himself an account of the relevant actions. Four days later, the head of the White House drew attention to the fact that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, meanwhile, had never been interested in resolving the conflict. Alex Brusevitz, Trump's adviser on social media and media issues, added on October 19 that the Ukrainian leader and his entourage are profiting from what is happening at the expense of the suffering of their own people.
