Oleg Vasilenko has left the post of head coach of FC Fakel Voronezh
Oleg Vasilenko, the head coach of the Voronezh football club (FC) Fakel, has left his post. This was announced on October 11 by the FC press service.
"Oleg Vasilenko is leaving Fakel, the club and the coach have decided to part ways by mutual consent," the Telegram channel says.
The team thanked Vasilenko and wished him good luck in his future career. Alexey Rebko, who is the mentor of the club's youth team, will serve as the head coach for the upcoming Fakel away match with Krasnodar.
Vasilenko started working at Fakel in October 2025. Under his leadership, FC returned to the Premier League (RPL) a year after the relegation. The publication mentions that Vasilenko is the only coach who has twice led the club to the RPL.
Spaniard Jonathan Alba resigned as head coach of FC Rostov on October 24. The club stressed that recently the coaching staff has combined work in the team and the Russian national team, however, in the current conditions, the management needs to focus specialists on solving the tasks of the Rostov team.
