Sobyanin thanked Putin for his attention to Moscow's concerns

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin, who turned 74, for his attention to the affairs and concerns of the capital, as well as for his invaluable contribution to its development.

On his Maks channel, Sobyanin congratulated the Russian leader on his birthday, wishing him "good health, prosperity and new achievements for the benefit of the Russian state."

The president's name is "forever associated with major achievements in strengthening sovereignty and security, developing the economy and social sphere, and improving the quality of life of citizens," the mayor noted.

Earlier, Putin was congratulated on his birthday by a number of world leaders, including North Korean President Kim Jong-un, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
