Lada sales in September set a record in 2026

By the end of September 2026, sales of Lada passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in the Russian Federation amounted to 32.3 thousand units, which is the best result in 2026. Sales in September exceed the results of August this year by 10.6%, and the results of September 2025 — by 9.4%. This was reported to Izvestia on October 1 by the press service of AvtoVAZ.

Lada Granta remains the leader in sales: by the end of September, 11.8 thousand vehicles were sold (+5.4% by August 2026). Lada Iskra sales totaled 3,711 vehicles (+12.7% compared to August). The Vesta family showed a result of 5,530 cars.

As noted in the company, the Niva family demonstrated a significant increase. The Niva Travel SUV sold 3,832 units (+25.8% by August). Niva Legend sales in September totaled 4,148 vehicles (+79.3% compared to August). Also, 2,428 Lada Largus passenger and 585 vans were sold in early autumn.

In total, 244.6 thousand new Lada cars were sold in the Russian Federation in nine months, which is 0.4% higher than in the same period last year.
