Ukrainian historian Gavrishko spoke about Merz's "war fever"

On September 29, Ukrainian historian Marta Gavrishko criticized the ultimatum that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and the leaders of five other countries put forward regarding the long-term budget of the European Union.

Gavrishko believes that the German Chancellor and his allies have "caught the war fever."

"Having failed to convince German youth that army boots are the latest fashion accessory, he is now turning his attention to the EU budget, demanding more and more money for militarization," the historian wrote on her page on the social network X.
