A high-alert regime was introduced in Primorsky Krai due to the increased frequency of forest fires. There are no restrictions for local residents.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, the regime implies that services and employees must be prepared for new fires and respond promptly to them. If necessary, additional forces will be deployed to protect settlements from fire.

The authorities are asking local residents to observe fire safety measures and refrain from actions that may provoke a forest fire. In case of deterioration of the situation, a special fire protection regime will be introduced.

In the spring of 2026, 495 forest fires occurred in Primorye. In 279 cases, fires occurred due to human factors.
On September 21, it was reported that all forest fires in the Khabarovsk Territory had been eliminated. The Forest Fire Service continues to monitor the situation and remains ready to quickly extinguish new fires.
