Lumisfera Orchestra presents a new program "World Hits: from the Beatles to Billie Eilish"

On October 9, Lumisfera will present a large-scale concert titled "World Hits: from the Beatles to Billie Eilish." The concert will be a special event for the project, which celebrates its third anniversary: the program will be held for the first time in the "Moscow" Concert Hall.

The concert program includes legendary world hits from different eras and genres. The new version of the program will feature The Beatles, Queen, Coldplay, Aerosmith, U2, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Sting, Adele, Billie Eilish and other great artists whose music has become part of the common cultural memory of people around the world. Each viewer will not only hear their favorite song, but also see its text on the screen with a translation into Russian in order to better understand its meaning and relive the emotions associated with it.

For the first time, the Lumisfera Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gadel Abdurakhmanov, the Palestrina choir, the MATTGENE electronic duo and soloists Kristina Stelmakh, Fantine and Alexey Makshantsev will unite on the stage of "Moscow" Concert Hall.

This is the largest concert in the entire history of Lumisfera in Moscow: more than 120 people are creating a concert where thousands of spectators and more than 30 musicians on stage will find themselves in one musical and emotional moment in order to hear familiar songs in a new way and feel how music, once born from someone's dreams, becomes shared.

The concert will take place on John Lennon's birthday, in honor of which Lumisfera will include The Beatles' music in its repertoire for the first time. Imagine, Yesterday, Let It Be and Here Comes The Sun will be performed in original arrangements by the project's composers along with other works inspired by the musician's philosophy and legacy. The choice of date was not accidental: Lennon was a man who was not afraid to introduce the world to others and share his dream with millions of people.

This story has a special meaning for Lumisfera. Three years ago, the project also began with the dream of its general producer Artyom Mironov. During this time, Lumisfera has grown into a large-scale concert project, bringing together more than 600,000 spectators in 40+ cities of Russia.

But the music that accompanies the most important events — first love, graduation, wedding, meeting or parting — we have in common. This is her magic: completely different people with different destinies hear the same song, they seem to remember completely different things, but at this moment they find themselves connected to each other.

It's not going to be a tribute to the Beatles, it's going to be a concert about people and for people who can dream so vividly that the world is changing. My dream is for us to come together, see and feel each other. This should be the warmest possible event."
