Reserve "Butungarsky" in Transbaikalia cleared of garbage

In Transbaikalia, the territory of the "Butungarsky" nature reserve was cleared of debris. After relaxing in the forest, visitors left bags, bottles and other waste, the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment reported on Monday, September 21.

People come to the protected area to collect pine nuts, fish and spend time outdoors, writes ChitaMedia news agency. The natural area is also home to many species of wild animals and birds.

According to the staff of the reserve, most of the guests treat the forest carefully and clean up after themselves. Inspectors remind you to take all the garbage you bring with you.

Earlier it was reported that 10 specialized routes have been developed in Transbaikalia to attract foreign tourists to the region. The authorities pay special attention to the Aginsky district.
