Two people were injured in drone strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the territory of the Belgorod region, as a result of which a man and a 17-year-old teenager were injured. This was announced on September 20 at the operational headquarters of the region.

"The attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on our region continue. Two people were injured, including a 17—year-old teenager," the Telegram channel said.

According to the operational headquarters, a man was injured in the village of Rzhevka in the Shebekinsky district due to the detonation of an FPV drone. He went to the Shebekinsky Central District Hospital on his own with a shrapnel wound to his shin. Doctors provided medical assistance to the victim, he will continue treatment in the hospital. As a result of another drone attack in the same district, a 17-year-old teenager was injured. With a shrapnel wound to his face, he went to the children's regional clinical hospital, where he was also hospitalized after receiving treatment.

In addition, damage to trucks and cars, as well as private households, was recorded in the Shebekinsky district.

The operational staff added that the strikes also affected other areas of the region. In the Borisov district, an infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of the attack, which temporarily left some local residents without electricity. Private houses and an infrastructure facility were damaged in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, a truck was damaged in the Korochansky district, and a building on the territory of the enterprise was damaged in Valuiki. In the Belgorod district, a social facility and an enterprise were hit, and in the Rakityansky district, an apartment building and two cars were damaged.

The Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, said on September 20 that two civilians, including a child, were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the region. According to him, the boy, born in 2012, was taken from the Prigorodny district to the regional children's hospital. Another victim, a man born in 1989, was also hospitalized.
