A playground decorated in the style of a Dymkovsky toy was opened in Yekaterinburg.

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Academic District of Yekaterinburg, a playground decorated in the style of a Dymkovsky toy was opened in Preobrazhensky Park. This was announced on September 15 by the "New Day" agency.

"Russian cultural sites educate children in the Russian cultural code and immerse them in the world of our fairy tales and traditions. We hope that other developers in the regions of the country will adopt similar experience in promoting Russian traditional culture through children's camps and playgrounds," said Alexey Zharich, Deputy head of the Presidential Administration for Public Projects.

The game space includes objects in the form of a miracle stove, a fair carousel and a rocker swing decorated with traditional paintings. The project was initiated by the Council of the National center "Russia" with the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Academic district has become a pilot site for the implementation of this concept, which is planned to be replicated throughout the country.

"I am absolutely sure that our children will love this place. They will receive information and be charged with patriotism through Russian folk motifs. It is on a good fairy tale that children should be raised," said Mayor Alexei Orlov.

According to Orlov, the Academic district is a leader in terms of fertility rates and the number of children. Previously, a sports core with a workout area and a mini-football field had already been opened here. Schools and kindergartens are also being actively built in the area.
