The search for the retired mushroom picker who disappeared a year ago will resume in the Amur region

In the Amur region, the search engines of the Thunder detachment will again go in search of an elderly resident of the city of Zei next weekend. He disappeared in the summer of 2025.

According to PriamurMedia news agency, Vasily Vorsin left for mushrooms on August 11, 2025, so far nothing is known about his fate. The man knew the forest well and went mushroom hunting every summer for many years.

The search operation began the same evening, the pensioner was in touch until his phone went dead. He told his relatives that he was wandering in unfamiliar places and was exhausted. The search for the elderly man lasted for months.

Now the search engines are planning to attract new volunteers. Educational and practical classes "Energy Point - Vorsin trail" are organized for them in the Zee. First, the participants will analyze the methods and subtleties of the search, and then they will go in search of a mushroom picker.

Earlier, on September 3, it was reported that a resident of Krasnoyarsk met with an aggressive bear while walking along the Yenisei River. Frightened by the roaring predator, he tumbled down the slope and was able to save his life.
