The weather forecaster reported on the movement of the Chinese typhoon towards Kamchatka

Tropical storm Lala may have an impact on the weather in Kamchatka. This was announced on August 27 by Marina Makarova, a leading employee of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

According to the forecaster, one cyclone is currently in the open ocean. When crossing the date line, it becomes a typhoon.

"So far, he (Lala) seems to be heading towards Kamchatka," she said in an interview with TASS.

Makarova noted that the storm is likely to transform as it moves. At the same time, it is capable of intensifying another cyclone that will pass over the region. "Lala" can bring portions of moisture and heat, which will lead to an aggravation of the frontal section and rainfall.

The specialist added that several more typhoons are now moving towards China, but their trajectories are not directed towards the Russian Far East. One of them is shifting towards Shanghai, while the other is moving north from Hainan Island and may reach the Leizhou Peninsula.
