Russia has created a project for the largest cruise ship in the country's history

Russia has developed a project for a new liner for international cruise shipping on the Black Sea, which will become the largest in the history of Russian shipbuilding. This was reported on August 18 by RIA Novosti with reference to the presentation of the creator of the project, the Vimpel design Bureau.

The vessel is designed to transport passengers between Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania. The technical specifications will allow the liner to call at ports in the Mediterranean, including Greece.

It is planned to accommodate standard double cabins, rooms with balconies and superior cabins of the grand suite on board. A theater, a Duty Free store, a cosmetics boutique, a spa, restaurants, bars and a tennis court are provided for passengers to relax. The project also assumes the presence of a medical unit.

The passenger capacity of the new vessel will be more than 2 thousand people. At the moment, the Mustai Karim is considered the largest Russian airliner, which is designed for 329 passengers.

On August 4, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the creation of 12 new year-round resorts in the country. The openings will take place within the framework of the project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal", which has received funding in the amount of 9 billion rubles. This amount is planned to be spent on the renovation of airports, attractions and the construction of 300 hotel complexes with a capacity of over 63 thousand rooms.
