The match of the third round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) between the football club (FC) Rostov and FC CSKA will be held in Moscow due to damage to the Rostov Arena due to the weather. This was announced on July 31 by the RPL press service.

"The order of matches between the Rostov and CSKA clubs has been changed due to damage to the infrastructure of the Rostov Arena stadium caused by a natural disaster. The decision was made in consultation with the president of the Russian Football League [Ashot Khachaturian] and in accordance with the order of the president of the Russian Football Union [Alexander Dyukov]," the publication says on the website.

It is specified that the match of the third round will take place in Moscow on August 8 and will begin at 20:30. The second leg of the 18th round will be played in Rostov-on-Don, but the exact date and time will be announced later.

In the match of the first round of the Russian championship of the 2026/27 season, Krasnodar scored an away victory over Rubin Kazan on July 26 with a score of 3:1. The scoring activity of the guests began with an accurate shot by Juan Boselli, after which Nikita Krivtsov increased the advantage by closing a pass from the same Boselli. Christian scored the third goal for the hosts. Mirlinda Dacu scored the only goal for Rubin.
