The Russian Armed Forces struck a dry cargo ship near Odessa.
A cargo ship delivering cargo for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was hit in the sea south of Odessa. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 31.
"During the day, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued attacks on ports and naval vessels involved in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the ministry said in a statement.
They also added that as a result of strikes by precision-guided air-launched weapons and drone strikes in the port of Odessa, a tank with fuel and lubricants and workshops of the Odessa Oil Refinery were hit.
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces had carried out one massive and 15 group strikes with precision weapons against military targets in Ukraine in a week. According to the ministry, military industry enterprises, logistics centers, military airfields, armament and ammunition depots, as well as production workshops and storage facilities for drones with their components were hit.
