The armed forces of the Russian Federation have completed the encirclement of the village of Bely Kolodez by taking control of the village of Verovka in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on July 31 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The liberation of the village of Verovka not only expands the security zone in this sector of the front, but also completes the encirclement of the White Well," TASS quoted the source as saying.

It is noted that after the start of the fighting for the White Well, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) equipped evacuation points and ammunition depots in nearby Verovka. The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly sent reserves to hold the settlement, but the combat groups were destroyed by Russian drones and artillery.

The Defense Ministry announced the liberation of the village of Verovka in the Kharkiv region earlier in the day. In addition, the servicemen defeated the manpower and equipment of five mechanized, motorized infantry, and airmobile brigades, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and five air defense brigades.
