The new cargo and passenger version of the Foton Toano van was presented in the Russian Federation

MB Rus, distributor of pickups and vans of the Chinese brand Foton in Russia, presented a new cargo and passenger version of the Toano van with a 6+1 seat layout. It is aimed at companies that need to transport up to six passengers with equipment, tools or other cargo. The price of the model will be 4.32 million rubles, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on July 31.

The passenger cabin of this Toano has four seats with three-point seat belts. The car is equipped with a blind fixed partition between the passenger and cargo compartments, finished on the passenger side with composite material and fabric. A hatch is provided in the lower part of the partition for the transportation of bulky goods with a mechanical opening. The cargo area is finished with plywood on the walls, ceiling and inner surface of the rear swing doors, and the floor covering is made of transport plywood.

The new version of Toano is available in one package. The car is powered by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine with a capacity of 154 hp (415 Nm), which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The total weight of the car is 3,500 kg, the wheelbase is 3,350 mm, and the dimensions are 5,990×2,000×2,435 mm—

The cargo and passenger version has a package of thermal insulation, noise insulation and vibration insulation of the body, an independent interior air heater, a ventilation and emergency hatch, LED lighting for both compartments, a dual USB socket in the passenger compartment and four rigging rings for cargo fixation. The standard equipment also includes ABS+EBD and ESC systems, a tire pressure monitoring system, air conditioning, rear parking sensors, keyless start of the engine, electric windows, electric drive and heated rear-view mirrors, LED headlamps, as well as an audio system with Bluetooth, USB, AUX and MP3 support.

In February, sales of an upgraded version of the Foton Toano van with a gross weight of 3.5 tons started in Russia. It features a new diesel engine and a redesigned exterior. On the basis of the model, various versions are possible, for example, a minibus with 15 passenger seats.
