Sobyanin supported the holding of the second Moscow Startup Summit

The Moscow government will support the holding of the second Moscow Startup Summit, which will be held from September 29 to 30 at Sberbank. The corresponding decree was signed by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, according to the website mos.ru .

The summit is being held to accelerate the development of technological entrepreneurship and create new growth points for the Russian economy, according to the portal. Among the objectives of the event is also named assistance to the authors of promising developments in finding partners and entering the market.

Entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of large businesses and government authorities from the regions of Russia will be able to participate in the summit. A business program consisting of five tracks will be prepared for them: robotics and devices, construction and urban development, medicine and biotechnology, agrotechnology and food technology, as well as creative industries and education, the message says.

A special exhibition will be organized at the summit site, where the developments of technological startups will be shown. The Techlab Moscow final was also included in the program: according to its results, 10 winners will be determined, who will receive funding for the implementation of their developments, the prize fund is 20 million rubles. In addition, representatives of the Russian innovation market will be awarded the "Technology Award".

During the demo days, entrepreneurs and participants of youth acceleration programs will show their developments to potential customers and investors. Separate sessions with entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts will be devoted to current trends and global practices, according to the website. mos.ru .

The first Moscow Startup Summit was held in 2025, attended by over 5,000 people. More than 1,000 startups and 700 investors joined the event, and over 150 speakers spoke at the summit. The startups participating in the summit received investment proposals totaling more than 1.6 billion rubles.
