The farewell to Dynamo Vladivostok coach Sandler will take place on July 31.
The farewell to the manager of the Dynamo Primorsky Sports Society, president and head coach of the Dynamo Primorsky basketball club, Eduard Sandler, will take place on July 31. This was announced by the team's press service on July 29.
It is specified that the start of the ceremony, which will take place at the Olympian sports complex in Vladivostok, is scheduled for 12:00 local time (05:00 Moscow time). The club also called Sandler a man who devoted his life to the development of sports in the Far East.
"We invite everyone who knew Eduard Mikhailovich, worked with him, was his student, colleague, friend or fan, to send him on his last journey and honor his memory," Dynamo wrote on the Telegram channel.
On July 28, Dynamo announced Sandler's passing away at the age of 45. Throughout his career, the specialist headed Spartak Primorye, Sakhalin and Vostok-65. Later, a source told Izvestia that Sandler died while riding a jet ski in the harbor near the Burny business center. According to the source, the specialist was seriously injured and died before the ambulance arrived.
