The Greek Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Nolan after watching The Odyssey

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a teleconference and expressed gratitude to Christopher Nolan, director of The Odyssey film. This was announced on July 28 by the press service of the Prime Minister.

"During the teleconference, the Prime Minister congratulated the British creator on the adaptation of the Homeric epic poem and thanked him for the film's contribution to arousing global interest in ancient Greek culture, adding that such works combine the rich cultural heritage of Greece with modern creativity," the publication says on the website.

Mitsotakis also noted the impressive box office results of the film and thanked the filmmakers for choosing Greece as one of the main filming locations.
