The exhibition "Heritage. Theatre. The Great Ones" opened in Moscow
On July 28, a unique exhibition opened at the National Center (NC) Russia, which allows the viewer to travel behind the scenes. The Heritage project. Theatre. The Great Ones" is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatrical Figures of the country.
The exhibition gathered more than 600 exhibits and showed how all those who create magic on stage work.
"We really want, first of all, our younger generation to get acquainted with the theater, with the world, with the backstage — what it is made of, how the imagination works. The smell of the theater is unique," said Vladimir Mashkov, Chairman of the Union of Theatrical Figures of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of Russia.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see real scenery, costumes and props for performances, as well as learn the life story and creative path of outstanding theatrical figures. The exhibition will run until the end of September.
Dolls from around the world, pocket computers and other unique exhibits are displayed in the spaces of the Moscow Exhibition Halls association, which is subordinate to the Moscow Department of Culture. For example, a Museum of the History of Dolls has been opened in the Davydkovo Gallery. His collection includes dolls from theaters in India, Burma, China, Indonesia, Japan and European countries.
