Putin appoints Andrey Podelyshev as Russia's Ambassador to the DPRK

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Andrei Podelyshev as Russia's ambassador to the DPRK, and the presidential decree was published on July 28 on the official publication portal of legal acts.

"Appoint Andrey Leonidovich Podelyshev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea," the document says.

By another decree, the president dismissed Podelyshev from the post of ambassador to Nigeria.
