The ten thousandth issue of Rossiyskaya Gazeta has been published

On June 24, the 10,000th issue of Rossiyskaya Gazeta was published. The publication, founded in 1990, has become a modern multimedia complex of Russian Media over three and a half decades.

The first issue of Rossiyskaya Gazeta was published in a circulation of 200,000 copies at a price of 10 kopecks. Today, RG is one of the top 3 most quoted daily newspapers in Russia. Its average daily circulation is 100,000 copies, and the audience of one issue exceeds 800,000 readers.

On average, about 100 authors participate in its creation every day — well-known journalists, analysts, and their own correspondents. Besides them, the authors of the publication include ministers and businessmen, politicians and scientists, diplomats and athletes, cultural figures and the military. For 35 years and 10,000 issues, all these people have participated in one way or another and continue to participate in the creation of the newspaper.
