68% of Russians trust Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on July 24 by the Public Opinion Foundation (POM) based on the results of a survey conducted from July 17 to July 19 among 1.5 thousand residents of the Russian Federation.

According to the study, 70% of respondents believe that the President of the Russian Federation performs his duties well. 46% of respondents positively assessed the government's work, while 51% of the survey participants said that Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, is effectively coping with his position.

The study also assessed the support of political parties. 33% of respondents are ready to vote for United Russia. The Liberal Democratic Party and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 11% each, the New People party was supported by 7% of the survey participants, and Fair Russia was supported by 3%.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in February that Vladimir Putin was popular, "from young to old, in Russian." In his opinion, one of the proofs is the high sales of goods with the image of the head of state.
