In two regions of the country, the average pension of working citizens exceeded 35 thousand rubles. This became known from the data of the Social Fund of Russia on July 24.

"Working residents of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug received an average pension of 39,449 rubles in June 2026. Russians living in the Nenets Autonomous District were charged an average of 35,913 rubles," RIA Novosti reports.

At the same time, the all—Russian indicator of the average pension of working Russians in June 2026 is 23,737 rubles, which is higher than the value of the same period in 2025, when the average pension was 21,114 rubles.

Pensioners who completed their work in August will receive a pension from September, taking into account all indexations.

Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Human Resource Management at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, announced on July 9 that all types of pensions will be indexed in Russia in 2027. According to her, the increase is mandatory every year, and its amount depends on the type of pension provision. The expert noted that the final parameters of the indexation will be determined based on the results of the assessment of the economic situation at the end of the year.
