Specialists of the urban management complex have equipped three modern beach areas in the east of Moscow. This was announced on July 20 by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.
According to him, 15 renovated recreation areas have been opened in the capital this year, three of which are located near Bolshoy Perovsky, Vladimirsky and Golyanovsky ponds.
On Bolshoy Perovsky Pond, a beach area of more than 2.5 thousand square meters appeared on two banks of the reservoir. The territory was equipped with sun beds, shade shelters, changing rooms, showers and toilets, as well as children's and sports grounds and a pavilion with a cafe. Biryukov recalled that the pond itself was rehabilitated back in 2012, according to the Moscow City News agency.
Another recreation area with an area of over 1 thousand square meters was opened in the southeastern part of Vladimirsky Pond. Sun beds, canopies, a playground, workout and table tennis areas were installed here.
