Zakharova compared the "coalition of the willing" in Ukraine to Sodom and Gomorrah
The countries of the "coalition of the willing" in Ukraine resemble the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah in terms of dehumanization. This was announced on July 15 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"Everyone who came to the city became a victim of their insane aggression — the desire to commit an animal—like act on everyone. <...> And from there this image of wanting, this desire and passion, the absolute dehumanized nakedness of passion, both then when describing a historical event, and now are very close," she said on the radio. Sputnik.
The diplomat stressed that these groups put their "desire" above all else. Zakharova also noted that, as in the ancient story, such communities perceive new people solely as potential victims.
Nine European countries, including members of the Coalition of the Willing, agreed on July 13 to create an association with Ukraine to counter ballistic missile attacks. The members of the new coalition intend to combine defense industry bases, research and experience to create a joint missile defense capability in Europe.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia would closely monitor the summit of the countries that are part of the "coalition of the willing." According to him, the actions of the states participating in the meeting are hostile towards Russia.
