On July 14, the office of former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad denied information from The New York Times (NYT) about his secret recruitment by Israeli intelligence services.
"The New York Times published a completely false report about Ahmadinejad and tried to stir up public opinion by exploiting the sensitive political situation related to military threats," the office said in a commentary cited by RIA Novosti.
