Demolition of an emergency apartment building was completed in Yegoryevsk, Moscow region

In Yegoryevsk, Moscow region, the demolition of an emergency apartment building on Proletarskaya Street has been completed. The regional Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning announced this on Tuesday, July 14.

We are talking about a two-storey wooden building surrounded by residential buildings. The area of the single-entrance house built in 1955 was just over 340 sq. m.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the house was declared an emergency due to a significant decrease in the strength and reliability of structures. The residents of eight apartments were relocated.

To date, the demolition of the building has been fully completed. Construction debris was removed from the territory, and the site itself was covered with sand. The administration will decide what will happen to the territory in the future.

According to the Moscow Department of Architecture, a total of 170 objects have been identified in Yegoryevsk that need to be demolished, completed or brought into line with legal requirements. Work has already been completed on 112 of them, which is 66% of the total volume.
