It is permissible to cook shish kebab only in specially designated places, according to the rules of the fire protection regime. This was recalled in Roskachestvo on Wednesday, July 8.

Permitted areas include specially equipped urban playgrounds. It is also acceptable to cook a barbecue in the courtyard of a private house or garden plot.

At the same time, it is impossible to have a picnic on the coasts of rivers or lakes without a specially equipped place for making a fire, the department added.

"It is definitely not allowed to roast kebabs in the courtyards of residential buildings and garages. In addition, it is strictly prohibited to light a barbecue fire on balconies, roofs, attics of residential buildings, on terraces and verandas of private houses," Roskachestvo emphasized in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

In order for a campfire to be considered equipped, a pit with a depth of at least 30 cm and no more than a meter in diameter is needed, and a flat area cleared of dry grass is suitable for installing a grill or barbecue.

In addition, the barbecue area should be at least five meters from the house, and there should be no debris or other structures between it and the residential building.
