AvtoVAZ has started production of Lada Aura with climate control and telematics

Production of Lada Aura cars with updated equipment has begun at AvtoVAZ. The company's flagship model has received a number of additional options. This was announced on July 7 in a statement from the press service of the Russian automaker, received by Izvestia.

"The Lada Aura business sedan has received an automatic climate control system and the Lada Connect Start telematics system. The new equipment is included in all vehicle configurations, starting with the basic version," the AvtoVAZ press service said.

The automatic climate control system ensures that the set temperature in the cabin is maintained automatically, increasing the comfort of the driver and passengers, the company noted. And the Lada Connect Start telematics system, using the Lada World mobile application, allows the driver to remotely receive information about the car's location, fuel reserve, engine temperature, battery charge level and other parameters.

The functions of monitoring the condition of the doors, trunk and engine are also available, which is especially convenient when operating a car by several users, AvtoVAZ said.

Information about the start of sales and the cost of the Aura with the new equipment will be announced additionally, the company noted.

On July 1, the company began production of a new version of the Lada Vesta, the car began to be equipped with an automatic climate control system and telematics. The climate system differs from a conventional air conditioner in that it automatically maintains the set temperature in the cabin.
