Rocket attacks were repeated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Belgorod and the Belgorod region. This was announced on July 7 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Shuvaev, in the Maks messenger.
"Repeated missile strikes were carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Belgorod and the Belgorod region," the report said.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
"In Belgorod, a message was received about a fire at an infrastructure facility — firefighters are working at the scene," the publication reported.
On July 7, Shuvaev reported that a civilian had died as a result of the first missile strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the village of Belovskoye in the Belgorod region.
The acting head of the region had recently reported three casualties as a result of the strike on the region. In addition, a fire started in an outhouse in the Pushkarnoye village in the district. Currently, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is liquidating the fire.
On July 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that at night the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted a massive attack on the regions of Russia using 625 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), of which 613 were shot down. According to the ministry, the main targets of the attack were civilian fuel and energy infrastructure and logistics facilities in the Leningrad, Bryansk, Belgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Kursk regions, as well as in the Crimea.
