The air defense forces repelled a drone attack on the approach to Moscow

Air defense systems repelled an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was flying towards the capital. This was announced on July 7 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"An attack by one drone flying to Moscow has been repelled," he wrote on his channel in the Maks messenger.

The publication states that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.

On July 6, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that at night the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted a massive attack on the regions of Russia using 625 long-range UAVs, of which 613 were shot down. According to the ministry, the main targets of the attack were civilian fuel and energy infrastructure and logistics facilities in the Leningrad, Bryansk, Belgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Kursk regions, as well as in the Crimea.
