Mishustin will hold talks with Pashinyan in Yekaterinburg on July 6.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will hold a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday, July 6, as part of the XVI International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom. This was announced on July 5 on the website of the Russian government.
"On July 6, Mikhail Mishustin will speak at the plenary session of the XVI International Industrial exhibition Innoprom – "Industry 360: Production without Borders" <...> Mikhail Mishustin will also hold bilateral meetings with <...> By Nikol Pashinyan," the message reads.
In addition, Mishustin will hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, as well as Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Mishustin had a telephone conversation with Pashinyan on July 1, during which he discussed issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Moscow and Yerevan. It was noted that the conversation took place on the initiative of the Armenian side.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on June 26 that the behavior of the current Armenian authorities could not be described as good faith membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). She also noted that Yerevan needs to decide on a strategic choice between the EAEU and the EU as soon as possible.
